Beginners Manicure and Pedicure                                                                                                A complete introduction and training course for manicure and pedicure treatments. Our experienced trainer will take you through all the different aspects required to perform a top quality manicure and pedicure treatment.

EAR CANDLING                                                   Ear candling therapy can help hay fever, allergies, sinusitis, insomnia, migraine and many more ailments. Our Ear Candling Course is run by the UK’s leading tutors in Thermo- Auricular Training who have trained over 600 therapists all over the UK, Holland, Algeria, Spain and Ireland. The course is full accredited and Embody approved. You will be taught the history and development of the therapy, its action, use and benefits, contraindications, anatomy of the ear, nose and lymphatic system, ingredients of a candle and practical assessment.
N.B case studies will need to be presented after completion of the course.

Pain Release Therapy                   The roots of this therapy are firmly based in the traditional Oriental realm of ancient Qi Gung (energy) therapy. Very few people in the West have realised the full therapeutic power of this system, especially the clients suffering from a range of different pain conditions. Once a diagnosis is complete therapists just lay their hands onto the appropriate area, creating the necessary release while at the same time causing deep relaxation. Attendance Certificate awarded.

Spinal Diagnosis/Tui Na                     The spine is at the core of all health issues, often reducing or stopping our recovery from a wide range of conditions both structural and internal. This course will teach you simple diagnostics of the spine for typical movement problems including slight misalignments and fixations. Gentle therapeutic techniques will be shown to release the problems before retesting to prove we have been successful. The second part of the day will concentrate on Tui Na (Chinese Physiotherapy.) Tui Na is an outstanding dry fully clothed stimulation massage therapy used for thousands of years in the East. A range of techniques will be shown (hands, arms & elbows) on a variety of areas in the body that will enhance your skills and clinical options.

Our ability to absorb food and fluid is at the heart of our wellness and performance. As everyone is made up differently and we all have different life experiences that always impact our bowels, we can often build up intolerances to different foods (even healthy ones!).The reaction to these intolerances is often fatigue and bloating leading to further problems like weight gain and poor immune systems.  By using muscle tests we can individually test everything that passes our lips for a healthy or un-healthy perspective, creating specific diets for people that will have immediate effects.

Soul To Sole® Foot Reading is exactly that: the reading and translation of your Soul’s language, which is imprinted on the soles of your feet. Hard skin, excessively soft skin, corns, blisters, deformities, differences, sizes, texture, colours, angles, impressions, nail condition and strength – all of these “markings” represent different reflections of your mind.

A perfect foot would indicate a perfect mind. But: we are a product of our parents, we have “genetics” influencing us the first few years of our life, and markings found then would be related to the parent’s whereas later we are influenced by the challenges provided by our parents, our surroundings and our environment, as we learn, adapt and grow. It is during this later phase where our own markings become more pronounced or/and replace what was imprinted in our youngest years.

The nature of Foot Reading is such, that when the right technique is used even the beginner can build up a gradual mental and psychological image of their client, without having to initially discuss anything. The therapist can “see” where a client is emotionally sensitive and is feeling challenged, and can approach a therapy session more sensitively by knowing where these weaknesses lie.

Thai Foot Massage            Full Day  - Novermeber 24th, 2008   £120 + VAT
Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that originated in Thailand about 2000 years ago. It has become an integral part of traditional Thai massage and has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Chinese massage and Yoga incorporated into the massage itself. Thai Foot Massage involves hands on stretching and massage, along with the use of a stick to stimulate the reflex points. It is still taught by Buddhist monks in the temples of Thailand.
N.B. The Thai Herbal Compression Massage and Thai Aroma Massage are best studied together, and enable you to offer a couch based Thai massage with oil and herbal compresses. (Accepted by FHT for accreditation).
